Pakistani Medical Student's Interview

Sohaib Mushtaq (4th Year), is a Pakistani student. He is currently studying at a private medical school in Kyrgyzstan (International School of Medicine). Sohaib said medical education in his homeland was expensive and unaffordable.

Sohaib also said there are many people in Pakistan who want to study medicine. But going to school is very difficult. That is why we want to study in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia. In our country, there are many advertisements about educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan. But, only few Government and Private Medical Universities are included in Top-Ranked Medical schools. Thses are following

We came here after talking to the graduates. When they go to Pakistan, they take an exam and then get a work permit. The contract costs around about two thousand dollars. It is not expensive for anyone. Admission to Kyrgyz universities is currently underway. According to the Ministry of Education, there are 63 universities in the country. 31 of them are public and the rest are private. Of these, the number of medical schools exceeded ten. The last of them was the International Medical University, headed by the famous narrator Roza Amanova.

According to the rector Erkin Tentishev, the annual tuition fee at the medical faculty is two thousand dollars. Tentishev said that 98% of students come from foreign countries such as India and Pakistan.
